Guest Blogger: Ellen, on "Seriously...I'm Kidding"
Ellen DeGeneres is a beloved stand-up comedian, television host, bestselling author, and actress. She has won twelve Emmys and numerous awards for her work and charitable efforts.
Hi, e-readers! I hope you are e-reading something good. I was just thinking--you know, I’m always thinking. Sometimes I’m thinking about the world we live in, sometimes I’m thinking about work, sometimes I’m just thinking about seedless watermelon. How do they have babies?
Anyway, I was just thinking that all you e-readers out there should know about the new book I wrote. It’s called Seriously… I’m Kidding and it will have you rolling in the aisles--if you decide to read it somewhere with aisles, like a movie theater or a supermarket or even during a wedding ceremony.
What’s really exciting about you e-readers getting my book is that now you won’t just be e-readers, as in electronic readers. You’ll be e-readers, as in Ellen readers! You don’t even have to change your name, and I think that is “e” as in excellent.
I had a lot of fun writing this book and I talk about a whole lot of different things in it. Everything from my time as a judge on American Idol to my illustrious career as an international CoverGirl to the secret of life. (I’ll give you a hint: it’s a leafy green. That’s all I can say at this time.)
And I like to think there’s a little something for everyone in the book. If you’re an adult reader, you may enjoy my mature musings on hoarding, for example. If you’re a teenager, I think you’ll appreciate the fact that I’m totes down with your super cool jargon. And if you’re a baby reading it, well, I’m just incredibly impressed by your reading comprehension level and your ability to use a Kindle. (Please take it out of your mouth.)
Now that I think about it, if you’re in a book club and it’s your turn to pick the book, you might want to consider choosing Seriously… I’m Kidding. You can pair it with a fine wine or lemonade and talk to your friends about how the book made you feel and think and smell.
If you’re not in a book club, I can’t think of a better reason to start one. You know what I always say – book clubs bring people together and make them friends and those are friends that will last a lifetime and create a bond that can never be broken even if you get into a fight about wearing the same outfit to a party after you were definitely the first person to want to wear it. I always say that.
Okay, well thank you for reading my blog post. I have to go finish writing my blog for Kitten Quarterly online. See ya later crocodile.

Some Twitter users thought the "Last Chance" message was a terrorist threat. Others assumed the Wall St. protesters were behind it. http://www.mtsconverter.com.br Artist Kim Beck, a professor at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh who lives part time in New York, chose messages from advertising billboards as cryptic comments on the faltering economy. http://www.mtsconverter.com.br/mts-converter-for-mac.htm

The public may not have known what the messages meant, but it helped pay for them. The skywriting stunt was supported by city and state public funding, according to the High Line's website. http://www.mts-converter.ru
"I wanted a narrative trajectory towards something optimistic at the end, which was the last message, 'Now Open,'" she said of the work. http://www.mts-converter.ru/mts-converter-for-mac.htm
